Again, Mind-Body in Unison’s goal is to move you toward your own self-care program, your Daily Hanna Somatic Essential (DHSE) home program. During the session, certain areas of muscular tightness and habituation will be brought to your attention. You will be given a specific program of Somatic Exercises that will not only continue your improvement, but also help to prevent the recurrence of any problems. These movements remind your brain how to efficiently use your muscles with the minimum of effort and maintain their new suppleness. Your DHSE home program takes about 15-20 minutes a day in the privacy of your own home and requires no special equipment. But, it makes a big difference in the way you continue to feel and is the key to long-term success.
